MOSCOW: Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and Serbian Deputy Prime Minister Aleksandar Vulin discussed the strengthening of the strategic partnership between Moscow and Belgrade, a Kosovo settlement and the situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Russian Foreign Ministry said in a statement after the officials met in Moscow.
"Discussed were issues of bilateral cooperation and the strengthening of the strategic partnership between Russia and Serbia. Special attention was paid to a Kosovo settlement and the situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina. There was also an exchange of views on pressing issues on the international agenda," the statement said.
Serbian Foreign Minister Marko Djuric earlier said Belgrade is convinced that cooperation with Moscow will continue to strengthen despite the current challenges.
