Kiev: Ukraine's Defense Minister, Oleksii Reznikov, has said that by using high-precision missiles to hit civilian targets, Russia not only affirms itself as a terrorist state, but also deprives itself of its military advantages, which will lead to its inevitable defeat on the battlefield.
According to Ukrinform, Reznikov reported this on Twitter.
He also published a scheme for Russia's use of long-range precision missiles from the start of the full-scale invasion in February to October 12 inclusive.
According to these data, as of February 23, Russia had about 900 Iskander ballistic missiles, about 500 Kalibr sea-launched cruise missiles and 444 air-launched cruise missiles (Kh-101 and Kh-555). As of October 12, the Russian armed forces had 124 Iskanders, 272 Kalibrs, and 213 Kh-101s and Kh-555s in their reserves.
In total, Russia has 609 long-range precision missiles left from the 1,844 it had before the invasion of Ukraine in February.
Reznikov called such a massive use by Russia of its missile reserves "demilitarization of Russia."
"By using hundreds of high-precision missiles against civilian objects of Ukraine, the aggressor state reduces its ability to strike the military targets. Two conclusions: - Russia's military defeat is inevitable; - Russia is a terrorist state," he wrote.
