The car, which the actor and others were traveling in, rammed into a house where the migrant workers are living.
Apart from Basil George, the deceased are Nidhin (35) and Ashwin (29). Four people are in critical condition. Eyewitnesses said the car was over-speeding. All the passengers in the car are from Valakam area, police said.
Basil, son of Mekkadambu Nadaparambel George, is the hero of the movie Poovalliyum Kunjadum, which was released last year. Siji is his mother. Brother- Benzil.
The injured have been identified as Litish (30), Sagar (19) from Valakam and migrant workers Ramon Sheikh and Amar Jaydeep. Kolencherry Medical College officials said that the conditions of the four are critical. The bodies have been shifted to Kolancherry Medical College Hospital Mortuary.
The natives were the first to rescue the victims. Soon firefighters arrived and rescued those victims who trapped inside the wreckage of the car.
