Thiruvananthapuram: The Kerala Tourism Development Corporation (KTDC) launches 'In Car Dining', an innovative program at select food restaurants, for the convenience of sitting in a car and dining without entering hotels.
PA Mohammad Riyaz, Minister for Public Works and Tourism will inaugurate 'In Car Dining' on June 30 at 4 pm at Kayamkulam Food Restaurant. In-car dining will also be available at KTDC food restaurants in Kottarakkara, Kuttipuram and Kannur Dharamshala.
The project is being implemented in hotels with parking facilities. Those who arrive at these hotels will be served food in their own vehicles. Do not get out of vehicles or board hotels. Necessary Covid protocol will also be maintained.
The aim of the government is to provide the best food to the people safely during the Covid period. As part of this, the project is being implemented using KTDC hotels. If the project is successful, it is planning to start in-car dining in more places.
