THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Covid-19 have been confirmed to 11 persons in Kerala today, six in Idukki district and five in Kottayam district.
Of the six in Idukki district, one arrived from Spain and two were from Tamil Nadu. Three people were infected with the virus through contact. Health Minister KK Shailaja said one of them is a doctor.
In Kottayam district, Four people got infected through contact. Two of them are health workers.
Four people have been released from the hospitals today. Individuals from Thiruvananthapuram, Malappuram, Kannur and Kasaragod districts have been discharged today.
A total of 123 people are under treatment in various hospitals in the state. 20,127 are under surveillance. Of these, 462 are in hospitals. Today, 99 people have been admitted to various hospitals. Of the 21,997 samples sent, 22,954 individuals confirmed with negative result.
Chathannoor, Sasthamkotta in Kollam district and Manarkad in Kottayam district has been added to the hot spot list today. There are currently 87 hot spots in the state.
