MOSCOW: A South African military delegation has arrived in Moscow to discuss ground forces cooperation, the Russian Defense Ministry said.
"A military delegation of the armed forces of the Republic of South Africa (South Africa), led by the commander of the ground forces, Lieutenant General Lawrence Mbatha, arrived in Moscow to discuss issues of bilateral military cooperation," it said.
The event began with the laying of wreaths at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in the Alexander Garden, led by Colonel General Alexander Matovnikov, deputy commander-in-chief of the ground forces for peacekeeping operations and Hero of Russia.
