NEW YORK: A US air base in Syria came under attack, but no casualties were reported among US servicemen there, a US defense official has told TASS.
"We are aware of these reports and currently assess no casualties and no damage," the source said.
Reuters, in turn, reported that shells had been fired towards the facility, but failed to reach it.
