The decision has been taken to start classes 1 to 7 and 10 and 12 from November 1. All classes may start from November 15th. Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan also directed to complete the preparations 15 days in advance.
The CM said that health experts were of the view that primary classes should be opened first. The Department of Education and the Department of Health should hold a joint meeting to prepare for the opening of schools.
Arrangements to be made when transporting children in vehicles will be discussed. Action must be taken to restore the school health program. Pinarayi Vijayan suggested that special masks should be prepared for the children and the masks should be made available in the schools as well.
Classes for students who have been vaccinated at the college level will also begin on October 18.
